The College currently collects the following:
- Glass - all communal kitchens, CR and bar
- Plastic – kitchens in Richard Laws only
- Paper – post area, library, Norfolk computer room
Want to recycle more?
The following recycling bins are available in the bin area for student use:
paper | cardboard | plastic bottles | cans | glass
There are also:
- Charity clothing/Shoes collection box in the Laundry Building
- Charity Collection bin (Salvation Army) at the back of the maisonettes
- Battery recycling box in the Library Building (top of the spiral staircase)
- Used Ink Cartridge envelopes for the Macmillan Cancer Support inkjet appeal in the Library Building (next to the battery recycling box)

Future
We are working closely with the Manciple to increase recycling at St Edmund’s. Our ultimate goal is to have mixed recycling bins collected from every student room in addition to the general waste bin.
