Central Executive (2012/13)
President – Luke Fletcher (president@st-edmunds-cr.co.uk)
‘As CR President I have various responsibilities in terms of representing our members to the College and keeping the CR machine ticking over with all its various responsibilities. But my most important role is probably to keep our excellent CR Committee team motivated and to provide support and guidance when needed.
Vice-President – Liran Morav (vicepresident@st-edmunds-cr.co.uk)
As the CR Vice-president I am tasked with ensuring that any extraordinary student concerns and initiatives are brought before the CR committee for assistance and advice. As such, I am continuously attuned to the concerns and ideas of students in St. Edmund’s College, thereby improving the CR committee’s ability to cater to student interests and well-being. An additional thing I do is to substitute for the CR President when the latter is unavailable.
Because my primary concern is to improve student life and cater to the student voice in college, I strongly encourage you to approach me with any ideas or initiatives that you would like to push forward. I will make sure you receive the support you need.
Treasurer – Jonathan Crass (treasurer@st-edmunds-cr.co.uk)
Primarily my work is involved in making sure that all CR expenses are paid and making sure societies get funding and can claim their expenses. I also draw up the CR budget at the beginning of the academic year and represent the CR to college on financial and other matters.
If you have any questions or queries about CR finances or other money matters in college or Cambridge, drop me an email.
Secretary – Ananya Kotia (secretary@st-edmunds-cr.co.uk)
Amongst other things, my primary job to ensure effective communication of the various events that take place in and outside college to the student body. This includes CR events like bops, college swaps, academic talks etc., as well as similar external events that take place elsewhere in the University.
I will also be informing you of important CR functions like the CR general meetings.
This information is disseminated through two weekly bulletins on Wednesday and Sunday (the latter being exclusively for Eddies events) as well as the two bulletin boards in the Combination Room.
If you wish to send any items for inclusion in the weekly bulletins please send me an email!

Extended Executive
Librarian – Shannon Bohle, MLIS, FRAS (librarian@st-edmunds-cr.co.uk)
Bar Steward – Jonas von Hoffmann (bar@st-edmunds-cr.co.uk)
Arguably the bar steward is the most important person in college, at least the one responsible for the most loved and essential of our many facilities.
In my role I try to guarantee a great experience both for customers and the volunteer bar staff, quality drinks available at all times with something new and special on offer every now and then and to maintain some of the lowest prices in all of Cambridge.
I am open for suggestions concerning items we should stock, music that should be played or events that could be organized.
The bar is a great place. Fundamentally, the atmosphere lives from all of us, the college community. Those behind the counter and those in the bar make the bar great – each and every day from 8:30pm to 11:00pm (12:00am on Friday and Saturday) .
IT Officer – Jonathan Crass (webmaster@st-edmunds-cr.co.uk)
As the CR IT Officer, I manage the CR website as well as making sure the punt booking system all stays in working order. I also liaise with the college IT staff about any issues or suggestions the CR has. If you have any questions or queries, get in touch!

Our job is to bring out the fun in your studies! We organise all sorts of events and bops – that’s parties in cambridge slang! We are also responsible for Fresher’s week. During the terms cambridge students often feel that they are drowning in their work so we are here to make sure that this will not happen to you! In short, our aim is for you to have fun while being a student here in Eddies! We are very happy to listen to your suggestions about events and you can always find us in college or contact us via email about what you would like us to organise for you!

Being Spanish myself and having lived in three different countries, I have plenty of international experience. My mission within the CR Committee is to bring people from different backgrounds closer.
This is a really important task in our community as our college is known for having students from the most number of countries.
I am a very approachable person, so if you have any issue that you might consider related to my position, no matter how insignificant or small you think it is, please drop me an email or just ask me personally.
Also, if you want to organize any event related to your culture and/or nationality I am more than happy to listen and try to work it out!
External Officer – Amina Ahmad (external@st-edmunds-cr.co.uk)
As external officer, I’m doing my best to give the St Edmund’s CR a face and voice at meetings such as the CUSU and GU Councils, while also organizing formal hall swaps and other forms of social networking such as organizing intercollegiate events.
